Membership Pause and Cancellation Policies

Pause policy. Set per membership: whether clients can pause, minimum cycles completed first, min/max pause length, pauses per year, and how far ahead a pause can be scheduled. Clients pause and resume themselves when the policy allows. Staff keep the existing unrestricted pause as an override.
Cancellation policy. Require a set number of days notice on client-initiated cancellations, and cap a membership at a fixed number of billing cycles after which it auto-cancels. The cap is settable on the template or on an individual purchased membership.
A few details worth knowing:
The final payment goes through. Pending cancellations stay active and keep billing until the notice is served.
How the end date works. It's the end of the first billing period ending on or after the request date plus notice days. Cancel May 9 with a May 30 renewal and 30-day notice: deadline is June 8, so the period advances. Charged normally May 30, access through June 30. Full cycles, never prorated.
Staff always override, with the notice-derived date pre-filled as a default.
0 days notice behaves exactly like today.
Pausing can't stall the clock. Clients can't pause during a pending cancellation, and cancelling a paused membership ends the pause and credits the paused days.
Pause history is tracked, which enforces frequency limits and shows you a client's pause pattern.
Pause policies cover memberships only, since packages have no billing cycle to pause. Paid holds aren't part of this release.
